I decided to redo an old picture...
Here is the original done in 2006. It was a drawing done for the daily sketch group on conceptart.org

Character needs to be larger than life, but not comical. Think Buck Rogers style pulp science fiction heroine. Another reference might include Captain Franky Cook from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (Angelina Jolie’s Character).
